On the first day of the workshop, State Women Commission member Mrs. Archana Rathore garlanded the statue of Maa Saraswati with her own hands and then lit the lamp and offered prayers.
To inaugurate the workshop, the program was taken forward by cutting the ribbon at the request of the organization's president Manoj Anand. All the guests who came to the workshop were welcomed by garlanding them. The list of honorable guests is as follows. Superintendent of Police Shri Shrikant Singh provided information related to women harassment in the society. Such as - women victims of domestic violence, exploitation of women at workplace, dowry death, female foeticide, child marriage in rural areas, molestation, rape etc.
Civil Judge Shri Anil Kumar made people aware about information related to democracy. The civil judge said that one should avoid getting entangled in family disputes and court cases, the Supreme Court and High Court also want that if small disputes are resolved at the primary level itself then the increasing burden of cases on the courts can be reduced. Civil Judge Shri Anil Kumar said that in democracy the job of any person holding any post, whether he is class IV or on a higher post, is to serve the public.
The chief guest of the organization, Mrs. Archana Singh Rathore, gave a detailed description of the government policies and free education and rights of women and children. Under the free education of children, along with the education of children, mid-day meals, books, uniforms and scholarships are provided to the children in the school. All these are facilities available to every child as per the government's RTE 2009. Every child has the right to get them. For women, the government started a 1090 helpline phone facility in November 2012 in the name of new Women Power. Under this, women can avail this facility if they are harassed by molestation or obscene comments. Archana Singh ji told that as per section 6 of the Hindu Succession Act, the rights that were available to male descendants will now be available to female (daughter) descendants. Under section 354, attacking a woman or using criminal force on her with the intent to outrage her modesty can result in a sentence of at least 1 year to 5 years and a fine. Such important information was given.
During the workshop, Tarang Seva Sansthan organised a grand demonstration of harassment of women and methods to prevent it through street play. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated this demonstration wholeheartedly. The harassment of women shown through the street play touched everyone's heart and the information gained through this will always be memorable. Because if any issue related to a topic is depicted pictorially or photographically in the community, then its impact on the community remains unforgettable. Before the conclusion of the first day's workshop, magician Dev astonished everyone through his astonishing magic shows. This entertaining show enthralled women and children. All the people present in the workshop praised this show immensely.
